Tonkinese cat : story, character, price and necessary care

The Tonkinese cat brings together so perfectly harmonious breed Siamese and the Burmese. Initially called Siamese gilt, was later recognized as a breed in its own right.

  • Head

  • Tonkinese Point:
    The body color is intense, uniform, without markings. It fades almost imperceptibly in a slightly lighter color on the lower parts of the body. The contrast between the color of the body and what the point is well defined.
    Point Siamese:
    The body color is white magnolia with any shade that recalls the color of the point. The contrast between the color of the body and what the point is absolutely clear.
  • Notes
    The Tonkinese is a balance between the Siamese and Burmese. Excessive similarity with one of the two races progenitor is not welcome.
